Render CBR for YouTube FullHD crashes

OS: Windows 11

Kdenlive Version 25.12.1

(Español, mi idioma original, abajo).

I’m going crazy because YouTube Shorts is causing my videos to lose quality. I export them in full HD from Kdenlive and they look perfect. I’ve had two different experiences:

The first is transcoding the video because importing the MP4 gives me an error. I run it through lossless Matroska, and it creates an excessively large file of over 200GB, which I can’t afford to have online.

The second method is ignoring the bitrate warning (it’s not constant) and exporting anyway with the Lossless/HQ H.264 group. This way, it doesn’t work. When I upload it as a Shorts video, the quality drops and it looks distorted—a bad image.

I tried cloning the H.264 and creating a new preset with a constant bitrate (CBR) of 25kbps, since, according to my information, if you’re exporting full HD, the ideal bitrate is between 15kbps and 25kbps.

However, when I try to export it this way, the render crashes and I get this log:

Started render process: /kdenlive/bin/melt.exe -loglevel error -progress2 %2Fkdenlive-DdwlpZ-1.mlt

[comfortnoise @ 000001fa80d39c40] Specified channel layout 'stereo' is not supported by the comfortnoise encoder [comfortnoise @ 000001fa80d39c40] Supported channel layouts: [comfortnoise @ 000001fa80d39c40] mono

[mp4 @ 000001faffcc3c00] Could not find tag for codec a64_multi in stream #0, codec not currently supported in container [consumer avformat] Could not write header 'FILENAME.mp4'

Rendering of FILENAME.mp4 aborted, resulting video will probably be corrupted.

I don’t know what to do. Just to clarify: I export a full HD video in Kdenlive and then convert it to Short format in Adobe Rush, since Kdenlive seems too clunky for quick editing and Rush is much more user-friendly. I don’t have YouTube Premium, so please refrain from telling me to pay for it. Thanks.

Started render process: /kdenlive/bin/melt.exe -loglevel error -progress2 %2Fkdenlive-DdwlpZ-1.mlt

[comfortnoise @ 000001fa80d39c40] Specified channel layout 'stereo' is not supported by the comfortnoise encoder [comfortnoise @ 000001fa80d39c40] Supported channel layouts: [comfortnoise @ 000001fa80d39c40] mono

[mp4 @ 000001faffcc3c00] Could not find tag for codec a64_multi in stream #0, codec not currently supported in container [consumer avformat] Could not write header 'NOMBRE-DEL-ARCHIVO.mp4'

Rendering of NOMBRE-DEL-ARCHIVO.mp4 aborted, resulting video will probably be corrupted.

No sé qué hacer. Gracias.
