I’m using 24.08.3 kdenlive.
The issue I’m facing is that whenever I insert an animation clip in the timeline, the rendering crashes, though the rendered file works with errors like gaps between the clips.
No animation, good rendering without crashing. I tested it.
It happens when I insert an animation from
glaxnimate and also when the title has typewriter effect, which is native to kdenlive itself. A big no to animation in kdenlive?
Let me repeat, without animation effects the rendering has no issues at all.
I reset configuration. Everything is default.

Hmm, typewriter works for me on 24.08.3 on Pop!_OS 22.04. Perhaps just a Windows issue?
BTW, the error message comes up a lot even though the rendering created a file (beats me why but AFAIK this comes from melt/ffmpeg).
Do you run Kdenlive with administrator privilege. If not, please try.
Specially on Windows Kdenlive seems to need some special rights to interact with some of the files.
Yes. Just tested with typewriter effect, for 8 seconds, on some text.
Same error appeared after rendering in kdenlive.
The rendered MP4 works with lag and uneven animation. It was working earlier as well.
The installation is on win10.
I got it. I was using 24 series.
Downgraded it to 23 series. Everything works fine with me now.
Glaxnimate animation works good.
Typewriter effect on text also works fine.
Using a win 10 pc.
This seems to be the same issue I mentioned here:
Just downgrade/upgrade kdenlive to version 23.08.5. No headaches further.

These aren’t the “same” problem. The warning is Harmless (it’s a warning between programmers, telling them that a shortcut they took using the encoder isn’t guaranteed to keep working in the future - there’s nothing that end users can do about this, or did to cause it).
If the actually rendered file plays “wrong”, that’s some separate issue - that so far seems to be ‘unique’ to your last 24.08.3 install on windows 10 (and downgrading doesn’t help anyone identify or fix that bug, even if it’s what you need to do to keep working on your project).
fwiw, the typewriter animation has been working just fine for me too on multiple projects with the 24.08.3 appimage, and no differently to earlier versions.
