Re: Folder View 3.0

Hi everyone,
I deleted by mistake the Desktop Folder Settings - Plasma, which includes Wallpaper, Mouse Action, Location, Icons and Filter.

When I left-click the desktop the application menu is showing but no indication on reversing my mistake.

If possible, would an expert please be able to advise me with restoring the said folder? Thanks.

What happens when you right-click on your wallpaper? Can you attach a screenshot of the context menu that appears?

Thanks for responding.

I posted the wrong information in my original post and am very sorry about that!

Instead of saying:
“When I left-click the desktop the application menu is showing but no indication on reversing my mistake.”

I should’ve said:
“When I right-click the desktop the application menu is showing but no indication on reversing my mistake.”

And, I also used the wrong terminology i.e. I should have said ‘context menu’ instead of ‘application menu’.

It was an honest error from a ‘not-so-savvy’ user - please accept my apologies.

Meantime, I changed the Global Theme to Q4OS Debonaire and the Desktop Folder somehow restored itself and the context menu is again showing.

Again, I am sorry for consuming your time. I try to be more accurate the next time when using this very helpful forum.

No worries!

I was confused because it is in fact possible to configure the system so that an application menu appears when left-clicking the desktop, and some people to manage to find this very hidden feature, so I was going to see if you were one of them.
