Scrolling in Tokodon does not work by all expected methods

Scrolling using the mouse scrollwheel works everywhere. Scrolling with the ‘Page Up’ and ‘Page Down’ keys works on the timeline and in threads, but not in the ‘Notifications’ page. The GUI scrollbar appears on the right of each page, but can’t be grabbed with the mouse cursor.

On some pages, such as the list of followers, a GUI scrollbar styled differently from normal appears, which can be grabbed with the cursor. However, in these pages, scrolling with keys does not work!

Your best bet is to open a bug report on the KDE Gitlab Tokodon section. There’s zero entries for any mouse/cursor bugs (well there’s one for cursor but it’s about hovering), so unless it’s reported they will be clueless to any problems. Similarly there are only two entries for scrolling problems.

The Gitlab says:
“Please note that all bug reports and feature requests should be filed on bugs.kde.org and should never be raised here. […] Issues on KDE Invent are used for tracking ongoing work and are for the use of contributors and developers only.

I’ve opened a bug report for the non-grabbable scrollbar part of your issue:

@seabass I got a reply on that bug report, saying that this is known but cannot be fixed apparently.

Thanks @nightoo! That’s a disappointing response but I understand that it’s not going to be an easy one to fix.
