I was scrolling in kcmashell6 kcm_sound (via systemsettings) and didn’t realize whilst doing so that because my mouse happened to be positioned above the multiselection boxes, it changed every sound preference.

How can I reset these to their defaults?
I’ve just made that up. It’s kcm_pulseaudio. Weird behaviour.
kcm_pulseaudio
Anyway, per 499023 – "Highlight Changed Settings" does not apply to PulseAudio KCM, it seems that this isn’t possible (yet?).
For what it’s worth - those settings might not logically have Defaults in the sense of “the configuration shipped by KDE and/or your distribution”, but maybe they could be Reset to their state from when the KCM was first opened? 499037 – Add a Reset button to the System Settings > Sound module, to enable undoing changes made since it was opened
