SDDM is not working on my Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 15-fb3xxx with my configuration

And what is your configuration? Sorry, but you will have to provide more info.

Start with

  • your distro
  • how it is not working? What so you see if anything? Can you log in?
  • Plasma version
  • anything else you can think of that may be useful

I have Arch Linux, I cloned the disk from another laptop (Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1), SDDM don’t work on a way that make my screen have ABSOLUTLY no output, I can only log in using TTY, KDE Plasma works, I suspect this might be X11 bug

There are tons of ways for what you did to go wrong, unfortunately. Even more so if the two machines have substantially different hardware ­— in particular if only one had an NVIDIA GPU and things had been manually configured on X11.

Being an Arch user, this is the kind of thing you’re actually expected to troubleshoot and resolve yourself. The Arch wiki is a legendary resource; look up the pages for SDDM, NVIDIA, the boot sequence, and so on.

If you need more help, the Arch people can probably help you a lot better than we can.

Maybe the SDDM service hasn’t been started or there’s missing SDDM configuration?

Never mind it worked temporary but now its not working
