I have openSUSE Leap 15.5 on a HP Pavilion laptop with Optimus graphic system (Intel + Nvidia GTX 1050).
When I install Nvidia drivers from the openSUSE repos and reboot, SDDM only shows a black screen with the mouse visible.
When I uninstall theses drivers and come back to Nouveau drivers, the boot is normal again.
Is this a known issue ?

also make sure your swap partition is working and your BIOS is set to hybernate (S4) so you ensure RAM is written to disk
