Shadows, Transparency and lack of consistency

Hi!
I’ve just started playing with KDE Neon and there are few things in KDE plasma which annoys me a lot. Keyword inconsistency!

1. SHADOWS
   
   

There is noticeable lack of consistency when it comes to shadows. For some unknown reason Firefox has it’s own style. The same with widgets and taskbar.
It would be awesome if we could have an option to force the same settings regarding shadows to ALL UI elements like widgets and taskbar.

2. Transparency
   We need an option to easily apply the same looking glass effect as seen in popup menu to window border , widgets and taskbar.

Hi! I’m not an expert on most of the look-and-feel topics, but just one note for what it’s worth - as I understand it, Firefox draws its own window decorations by default. If you’re looking for consistency, you might want to enable its setting to use system window decorations, which can be found by right-clicking the toolbar and choosing Customize Toolbar > Title Bar checkbox at the bottom.
