Today I received the badge ‘First Share’.
I readed a lot of times the description of the badge but I don’t understand how works.
I saw the topic awarded by this badge and I continue without understanding.
I didn’t pressed the Share button (I don’t understand the difference between this button and copy the URL of one message). Neither of them was used in that post. I wrote it all by my hand and just put a link to the Nvidia website (is not the first time that I put a link to external web in a post).

mine was for sharing a link to one of my own posts… that’s all there is to it, i think.

now you can rest.
If you hover over the timestamp in the top right of a post while you’re logged in, then you’ll see it’s a link whose target URL ends in ?u=krovikan.
Typically you get this badge when you share such a URL somewhere, and someone clicks it.

In this thread I’ll did this process of copy the URL that ends in ?u=krovikan.
As you see, no one click in it.
But I received today the badge ‘First Share’ for this post (is too long, I did a screenshot of one little piece):
