Yeah there’s no glass effect(translucency with blur is not it) but its not bad.
Both top panels one full bar one with just the elements highlighted and slowly changing tone. I kinda like both styles.

Thats pretty cool! But doesnt the rain effect get distracting, or is that just me?
Also do the animations stop taking PC resources when theyre not in view?
Ive thought of having some very simple animated desktop, something subtle, which is why i ask.
How to split up the top panel like here instead of a single long bar?
You can have it set to pause when a window is active or full screen. I’m personally using the wallpaper engine plug-in. There are some very subtle ones that I normally use. I went a bit more extravagant for June.
Once the bug gets fixed, the smart video wallpaper plug-in is another option, though it’s resource size is dependent on the size of the video so it’s always best to use shorter clips if you have lower ram. It can also be paused and stopped, depending on how windows are if they’re in the foreground or background type of thing.
Like this here:
though webp makes it a bit hard to see the smoke trail of the rocket moves only when I close konsole.
As for how much ram this one uses its 7MB so nothing I worry about. But it is a Scene wallpaper and not a full video.
It’s Panel colorizor though I personally use a older version before the settings rewrite. So I can’t say if it has the slow color shift option. You can also use it in any panel not just the top one.
@akselmo On the topic of live wallpapers I am using the HTML wallpaper plugin on KDE store, I believe qtwebengine
exposes that info to the file/site being rendered. Also noticed you have to make sure the web app pauses rendering otherwise it will hang plasma/screen-locker for some reason.
Other than that nothing revolutionary going on here.

Have you got a link to the wallpaper, please?
I’ve not heard of Jens Ritter until now. Looked up his work and, wow, stunning instruments.
Is the icon set custom?
Aye. I call it Requiem.
Is the set public or is it just on your system?
Only on my system for now. Still a lot of work to do.
