@davidre, thanks! How does one usually deal with Adwaita and Breeze having different names for icons, then? Is that what Nate was trying to fix over at FD’s GitLab? I doubt I can just ask them to special-case per icon theme…
It’s all a mess. There’s a very rudimentary list of icons a theme should have. Otherwise it’s the wild west. With apps mostly targeting one theme (when a KDE app needs a new icon we only add it to breeze-icons) and icon themes adding aliases or icons that other apps need if they care about them.
