I just updated to dolphin 24.08 and now most of my tabs just show … as the name when before they showed as many letters as fit which was enough for me to identify them. Related is there any way to disable the space for the icon there, i tried replacing it with a transparent one but no luck.
Or if someone could point me to which commit did this so i can revert it and do a local build.
Hi - can you share what system you are running on? If it’s KDE Plasma, going to the Info Center app and clicking Copy Details in the top-right corner is an easy way to get that info:

On my system, at their absolute minimum width there’s still at least some text on each of Dolphin’s tabs:
I’m using Plasma as my desktop environment, though - my non-expert guess would be that there’s some Qt theming piece missing in your Arch setup, but I’d defer to folks who have more experience with custom-configuring a desktop to that level
