When we generally try to add new bluetooth device on Kubuntu’s Bluedevil, Not familiar why do many devices without names which are uncategorized type are being listed?
These devices are not listed in Windows or in Blueman? Will ignoring them cause any issues? Do we have any existing patch to have only names visible in bluedevil.
It’s very irritating as they are more in number than the devices with actual names. Attaching the screenshot below:
Hi! Those devices are likely Bluetooth Low Energy devices that don’t advertise their names for pairing.
The ability to filter those out seems like a good candidate for a feature request for Bluedevil, the KDE component that handles that Add Bluetooth Device wizard.
