Signond doesnt get updated?

It shows in discover but regardless of several times of updating or restarts, it still show to be updated. I googled what signond is, but it’s beyond me what the implication is and why it doesnt update for me.

system is ubuntu 23 , kernel 6.2.0-10018, plasma 5.27.7

It is unclear why Discover won’t update signond for you, but this package hasn’t seen significant updates in 5 years, so I expect you aren’t missing anything major.

If you want to get to the bottom of this, though, in recommend opening a terminal (for example, Konsole) and running the command:

sudo apt install signond

Then copy and paste the results to here (use the mouse menu to copy - the CTRL-C shortcut does not perform “copy” in a terminal).

If that is everything, then that looks fine (I think it should have said some more things, and it should end with the text “done”). It did update signond successfully.

The bit about not being able to remove the old directory /etc/apport/crashdb.conf.d is a bit worrying, but it isn’t related to signond - it is probably another installation job that have removed apport.
