Since the last update button to "kill"/"close" activity from "Activity Panel" is gone

Hi, since the last update I did, the button to “kill”/“close” an activity from the Activity Panel (Meta + A or Meta + Q) is gone. (I don’t want to delete it, I just want to stop it so it’s not in the list anymore when I switch between activities, while I still can start it again from the Activity Panel)

As you can see on the first screenshot attached (from my computer rn) it’s gone,

and on the second one (from online) how it looked before!

I don’t know why it happened and how to fix it, please tell me how to bring it back, it’s so useful for me!

Here is my kinfo:

- Operating System: KDE neon User Edition
- KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.3
- KDE Frameworks Version: 6.20.0
- Qt Version: 6.10.1
- Kernel Version: 6.14.0-36-generic (64-bit)
- Graphics Platform: Wayland
- Processors: 20 × 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-13700H
- Memory: 32 Gio of RAM (31.0 Gio usable)
- Graphics Processor 1: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU
- Graphics Processor 2: Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics

Not a bug, unfortunately.

They should have added an option to bring it back at least or improving the way it works… This is totally non sense… Where I can complain about it (if you know) please?

Here is the best place to complain, probably.

You could submit a well-worded bug report/wishlist over here.

There is the long-running developer discussion you might follow, particularly starting here.

Thank you, I’ll look at it!

It’s currently feature requested already in https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=511578
