I am doing some troubleshooting and I found that when I shake my mouse, the mouse magnifies. This seems to be unique to Wayland or at least I have never noticed it on X11. Looking at systemsettings I do not see anything about this feature. Does anyone know what controls it?
This must be a Wayland thing, I’m still using X11 for X-Plane which doesn’t work properly with Wayland, there are tons of glitches with it.
I depend on Input Leap for keyboard and mouse sharing which until this week has not been compatible with KDE on Wayland, so I too have been on X11. Now that there is basic support for Wayland on Input Leap I am now going through and finding all the dozen bugs in everything else I use that come out when using Wayland. In this case, it was this bug: Shake Mouse Magnify Feature on KDE makes server cursor visible when on client · Issue #1924 · input-leap/input-leap · GitHub
if you just type “shake” on the desktop will krunner take you to the settings page?
Honestly hilarious. This just happened to me and I was so confused as to why it happened. Thought this was yet again one of those obscure KDE bugs.
