[Solved] Mint 22 update today, now KOrganizer can't find my calendar file

I’ve used KOrganizer since moving from Win10 to Mint about one month ago. This morning, after updating Mint from 21.3 to 22, KOrganizer does not load my calendar. It shows a blank calendar.

I have version 5.24.5.

I have daily /Home backups, so my calendar file should be available there if the Mint update messed up the current calendar file.

How do I connect KOrganizer with my calendar file?

Update: I am getting Linux notifications for the recurring events I set up in KOrganizer, even though the calendar I can see has no entries. I do not get the KO popup reminder window.

So KO can see the calendar I created over the past few weeks, but I can’t add, delete, or modify the entries that I made before updating Mint. This is very strange.

After a complete remove/purge of Korganizer, I reinstalled it. The plan was to enter all my reminders and appointments in this fresh install. When I clicked OK for the first entry, I got a warning saying that my entry would not be shown because a filter was applied.

For some reason, when I updated Mint to 22, the Personal Calendar was de-selected. After I selected Personal Calendar, all the entries from the past month appeared.

The amazing part of this story is that my personal calendar data survived the delete and purge tools.
