Some shortcuts don't work.

Some shortcuts don’t work specifically the minimize all windows shortcut and minimize all in active screen. I’ve tested a few other shortcut and those seem to be fine.

could you add screen shot of which shortcut

A screenshot wouldn’t be needed, but certainly a more specific description.

Specifically, WHAT SHORTCUT? - you know, like what keys?

Also what exact name of the shortcut?

Because searching shortcuts doesn’t find what you’re describing - though I remember I did have a ‘minimise all’ shortcut that I used in the past with mouse gestures on X11…

You can set Minimize All (which toggles the state) to a Screen Corner - I set it to the bottom right.

The alternative is set to Meta+D ‘Peek at desktop’ which appears to just shove the windows off the screen, but if you then pull back one window, you’ll understand that what it did was actually minimise all the windows - pretty much the same thing.

qdbus org.kde.kglobalaccel /component/kwin invokeShortcut "Show Desktop"

I don’t have any idea about ‘active screen’ though… but it’s not something I miss much - it’s not like you’re likely to have more than a handful, and you can also hit Meta a few times to take them down.

I am pretty sure that ‘minimise all’ will only affect your current desktop.

Here is a screenshot of all the shortcuts and the keybinds I used. Also Peek Desktop isn’t what I’m looking for because I don’t want all of the windows to come back when I open another

I don’t necessary need it to only work on the current desktop as I use my laptop screen and a monitor. I’ve tried to do it one at a time before and I will use that if there is no other solution but I would prefer to do it at once.

i can’t find it on my machine is that custom shortcut ?

I don’t think so and if it is I don’t know what I installed to get it

what section it’s in i will try to search for it again

Window Management

i can’t find it at all … i wish if i could help more

That’s fine I’ll just do it one by one until I find something better

wish you the best of luck

I’m still on Plasma 6.5.6, I think this is something I had with a kwin script before, now being merged into 6.6
