Sound Notifications

Hello Everybody,

How to disable sound notifications in kdenlive?

Yes, I did unchecked all triangles in “Configure Notifications”; still it hits me whenever I do something - like removing a file from the Project bin, or add a duplicate file there.

I need to keep the computer sound ON, but these notifications wake up my toddler.

Hi @Alexell, and welcome to the forum and community.

If you have switched off all notifications in Kdenlive, perhaps you need to check the notification settings of your OS.

thanks for the answer. All OS notifisations are disabled - I don’t get any, eksewhere.

Only in kdenlive, especially since yesterday - Jan 3 2026, when it was, apparently, updated.

Are there any other settings here?
