Sound settings missing/empty after update

Hello,

since about a day ago, my sound settings on KDE are completely blank, there are no devices listed and nothing to change here. Sound still seems to work normally. See screenshot.

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

I put the output of pactl list sinks, pactl list sources and systemctl --user status pipewire wireplumber pipewire-pulse
into a gist here: Sound settings · GitHub

I am not aware that I changed anything (settings, packages etc.), except that I ran a system update.

if you right click on the sound icon in the system tray and check the show virtual devices box, does that change anything?

Thanks for the suggestion, I ticked the box but the Sound options are still empty

According to KDE bug #493266 it’s a high priority bug in Qt 6.8

Thank you so much! Good to know that this isn’t a me-problem, and the workaround by the guy on the bug report worked for me. This was driving me crazy.
