When I move selection to the bottom of the screen, I can’t reach it

if you have more than one monitor and one of them is a diffent size than the other one, then your “screen” is the smallest rectangle that can hold all the monitors.
use shift+print or the pager tool to see the whole rectangle… parts of it will never be visible on your monitors, but you can still place windows there.
