From time to time I contribute to Kile, KDE’s LaTeX editor. It annoys me that every pull request says that the test coverage did not change (0.00%). I would like to add some basic tests, probably starting with simple unit tests for methods that allow this kind of testing.
Any thought how to start? Are there any best precises for automated tests in KDE? Do you know other KDE applications that I can use to learn more about this topic?
If someone is interested in becoming a sparring partner, we could do some test coverage for Kile together.
