me and a buddy both have steam decks but my buddy has a loud background with a tv going all the time, and once he swapped to the steam beta there is noticeably less audio sinks in qpwgraph and the terminology in the system settings seems to group his headset and mics and speakers or combine all the settings? idk it’s confusing and on steam deck stable / plasma 5 the system audio settings used to be a lot more coherent and it would supress his tv. I could have both of us swap back to stable but he wants the new features of plasma 6 and stuff in beta. Does anyone know any fixes or tips to just get his noise suppression working better?
(iv’e used linux since 2022 and im not even sure whats going on with this)

Is this headset bluetooth ?
It might be a case of a wrong codec selected for the bluetooth.
It’s a wired headset
