Sticky modifier keys don't depress on mouse click

Hi all. I’m on Plasma 6.0.4, Wayland, Arch (EndeavourOS). New to KDE and Wayland.

With sticky keys enabled[1], modifiers don’t “un-stick” on mouse click. I’m sure this isn’t intended behaviour, as e.g. CTRL+Click on Firefox to open link in new tab leaves CTRL pressed, modifying any clicks that follow.

Is there an existing solution to this via configuration, or is this likely a bug I should report?

[1] Specifically: Accesibility > Modifier keys > Sticky keys, “Enable” checked, all other boxes unchecked.
