when I have 2 clips on the timeline and i use my scroll button on mouse it scrolls all the way to the end of the timeline where their are no clips. is their a way to prevent this so it just scrolls to the end of current clips on timeline
I assume you mean some way other than to just stop spinning your scroll wheel when you get to the place you want to scroll to? 
Not really … what if you want to be able to drop new clips into that space? It makes sense to be able to navigate at least some distance past the currently last clip, doesn’t it?
