System Monitor is responding incorrectly to the Language settins

Hello.

I found this behavior. Should I report it as a bug?

The system monitor shows Japanese while the language settings is American English. The steps to reproduce this problem is like this :

  1. Install KDE Linux with American English UI.
  2. Confirm the System Monitor UI is OK.
  3. Change the system language to Japanese by the Region and Language.
  4. Log out and Log in. The System Monitor UI changed to Japanese.
  5. Change the the UI language to American English again.
  6. Log out and Log in. The System Monitor UI has some some Japanese.

Please see the attached screenshot. While the Language is American English, The UI of the System Monitor is left as Japanese.

System information is :

  • KDE Plasma: 6.5.80
  • KDE Frameworks Version: 6.21.0
  • Qt Version : 6.10.0
  • KDE Linux 2025-11-25
