System.Monitor shows page missing

I

did not set anything, did some settings propagate to me ?

I got a missing page for the bandwidth if i do not have a network connection. Attach is the screen shots along with what happens in mobile tethering. This is Opensuse Tumbleweed but it happens in Debian Forky as well.

File a Bug 519011 for kde.

Not sure what’s going on here. Maybe the System Monitor is unable to auto-detect the sensors? Have you tried selecting the sensors manually?

When i plug it with a different network device and online it dissapears. It could be the unused ethernet. It seems other people have the issue.

hi, welcome.

this typically happens when the firmware offers up sensors under a new name and system monitor can no longer find the old name.

if you manually reassign each sensor, it should stop asking you where they went.

unless they change again, but that’s the firmware and nothing to do with the system monitor.

if you are constantly flipping back and forth between different network hardware, then the system monitor is going to have a hard time keeping up with the changes.

@skyfishgoo yeah something is weird about the firmware. But nevermind i will just have to use the PC for the tine being.

you can run sudo sensors detect to make sure you have all the available firmware sensors accessible to the OS.

then run sensors -u to see how they are listed by chip name.

you can then create /etc/sensors.d/nuvoton.conf that will let you ignore senors that create an issue for you or are not needed/useful

hi,

sensors are working in opensuse but i can not use the command “sensors detect”.

you may need to install a package that contains the lm-sensors utility.

the package is called binutils on my distro (kubuntu), but it may be called something else on another distro.

lm_sensors was already installed. I have to check the documentation later on.
