I have configured to show the windows preview on Task Manager when hovering over the Icons. However it only shows the previews for those Windows in the Virtual Desktop I am in. Previews are not shown for Windows in other Virtual Desktops.
I am on KDE LTS, so perhaps this was a bug since fixed in newer versions of KDE?
You would need the task bar to show all the tasks independently of the virtual desktop to enable this. The previews corresponds to the tasks visible in the current virtual desktop task manager.
There is a toggle in the task manager in toggle for this.
