Taskmanager and Konsole never remember last session settings

Fedora 41, X11 on a gen. 11 Carbon X1

Can’t remember when this has become a problem, but it was definitely broken in Plasma 5.* as well.

Konsole always starts with one tab only, whereas the last session had multible tabs with different paths open.

The sequence of tile is taskmanager always starts with an arrangement that I would never use. I distribute the tiles in a sequence that makes sense to me and easy to identify a program I want to switch to.

Also, there is always Teams coming up, even though I have not used it for months. None of the options for saving a session have any influence.

same problem here, I just upgraded to Fedora 40, that means wayland and session restore as expected doesn’t work anymore, but I am wondering;
Konsole before saved the status in .config/session/konsole and restarted from there. What was the procedure used for that?, the files are still there it should be an internal proc of Konsole, it has nothing to do with graphics why using W changed this?
