Not sure if this is a bug or just an issue with my setup.
Since 5.27.3 or 4 some Flatpaks (Inkscape and Telegram) don’t follow the system cursor theme but have a weird pixelated black icon. What else can I try other than reapplying the cursor theme?
KDE neon, Plasma: 5.27.4, Frameworks Version: 5.104.0
Qt Version: 5.15.8
Snap works fine with Telegram.
I don’t know about Telegram, but GTK apps like Inkscape not following the cursor theme is usually due to xdg-desktop-portal-gtk not being installed or running.
I’m on 5.27.4 with Telegram Flatpak and I can’t replicate this issue, my cursor appears as the correct Breeze one.
Can you post a screenshot of the cursor so we can see it as it may help identify the issue? Also check you have org.gtk.Gtk3theme.Breeze
installed as when I try to remove that it tries to remove Telegram as well.
thanks for the tips, both are installed. here’s the cursor:
Oh I forgot to ask if Telegram was installed in User or System as it will need that Breeze theme installed in the same one I believe.
Other than that I’m not sure sorry, hopefully someone with more ideas on how Flatpak theming/integration works can help.
