After installing a KDE update, changing the keyboard layout and the clipboard in Wine/Proton applications stopped working.
OS: Arch Linux x86_64
Kernel: Linux 6.17.6-zen1-1-zen
DE: KDE Plasma 6.5.1
WM: KWin (Wayland)
1. Keyboard layout (Shift+Alt hotkeys):
If you press Alt then Shift, all keys stop working (any key pressed causes an error sound) until you switch windows and then switch back. Sometimes the language switches, sometimes not.
If you press Shift then Alt, the language switches, but capital letters are typed (even though Shift is not pressed). Until you press Shift again. The switching seems to work, but it’s like Shift+Alt and then Shift again.
2.Clipboard:
It’s impossible to paste text from a browser and then add it to a field in a Wine/Proton application.
However, it is possible to extract text from a Wine/Proton application. It copies to the clipboard just fine.
If I set shift+alt in the first keyboard settings window, it only works correctly in the system itself, but not in Wine applications.
However, if I remove the language switching setting (without assigning keys), go to the advanced settings, and select shift+alt as the language switcher, everything works in both the system itself and Wine applications.
Installed updates.
I used the apps for a couple of days.
Sometimes the first paste from the clipboard doesn’t work (it seems that this is the first copy after turning on the computer), but then it works as expected.
