The time line is jumping from 29 seconds to 1 minute

Should i change any settings.
I tried new project, but with same results

Hi!
The 29 is not seconds but frames. It is usual in video editing software to have a timecode of HH:MM:SS:FF hence the behavior is absolutely correct since your project seems to have 30 frames per second (fps).
