Tokodon and saving image/video

I use the Tokodon Fediverse (version 26.04.1) client on Kubuntu

Operating System: Kubuntu 26.04 LTS
KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.24.0
Qt Version: 6.10.2
Kernel Version: 7.0.0-15-generic (64-bit)

I have the Kubuntu backports PPA enabled.

I am having problems saving either images or videos from the Tokodon timeline on server Mastodonapp.uk. If I right-click on the image etc. and select Save Image As I get the standard KDE file save dialogue window with the name filled in with what seems to be a random number plus the file extention - .gif, mp4 etc. I rename it. Clicking on Save closes the window. If I then search the directory with that name it is not found.

I go to the Mastodonapp.uk website and save the image from there, it saves okay, and, if I then go back to tokodon and save the same image again, with the same filename, the file dialogue windows pops up. Clicking on Save it prompts to see if the original file should be overwritten and I click on Overwrite. An examination of the modified time shows that the time hasn’t changed from the original file save.

Is anyone else seeing this behaviour? Should I raise a bug report?
