I recently updated to plasma 6 on manjaro.
the system settings are now missing the settings panel for my thinkpad trackpoint.
how can I get it back ?
I had checked the mouse and there were no trackpoint there.
I checked again after reading your message and mine is missing the device entry from your screenshot. at the moment I have both a working trackpoint and a mouse plugged into the computer.
I also noticed that the touchpad says “no touchpad found” despite also having a fully functional touchpad.
this points to some other issues than a settings panel missing.
I do not know where to start to diagnose what could cause the problem here, is there documentation I can refer to ?
This can happen if you’ve blacklisted or uninstalled the Libinput drivers. In Plasma 6, they’re the only ones that we support with a GUI control panel.
libinput is installed along with xf86-input-libinput.
