I am trying to change the default application for tel: link on my Windows 11 laptop. Currently, Phone Link is the default, and I don’t see a way to direct all tel protocols to KDE Connect. I have a CRM program that I am using to dial customers, and I also click phone numbers on customer websites. I want to use KDE Connect to dial out on my Pixel 9XL cell phone. I think if I can make it my default program for tel: it should work. My phone is connected as a device, but without making KDE the default, Phone Link jumps in. Phone Link does not work for me, so please help get KDE Connect to handle calls.
It’s been a few days. How long does it normally take to get some feedback?
