I’m experiencing a strange issue: I opened a .kdenlive file that I created about a month ago which includes an EXR sequence that now displays as “INVALID” in the viewport.
I’ve tried re-importing the EXR sequence and got this error:
“Cannot open file qimage:/exrsequencelocation/.all.exr”
I tried re-importing the EXR sequence again on a new project file and got the same error.
You can test this by importing the “singlepart” EXR sequence from OpenEXR’s official website.
I’m using the .appimage on Fedora Workstation 41 (It’s the only version I can get MP4 exports to work on). I’ve also tried this with the flatpak from Flathub and the .rpm from Fedora’s repository.
I even booted into Windows and used a freshly downloaded portable version of Kdenlive and had the same error.
As a temporary fix, I’ve been using TIF sequences rather than EXR sequences, as it seems that Kdenlive can no longer read them. Am I doing something wrong?
