Unable to share screen OBS and Discord

My computer run artix Linux with runit and KDE. hardware wise it is a Ryzen 7900x and rx 6900 xt.

Whenever I try to share my screen in OBS I select “Screen Capture (PipeWire)” after doing so a KDE window titled “Screen Sharing” shows up asking me to select what it is I want to share. No matter what I pick I get a KDE portal integration notification saying “Failed to start screencasting Failed to connect PipeWire Context”

A very similar outcome happens when I try to share my screen in Discord (Webcord).

Not an Artix user myself, but it seems there are others out there experiencing the same issue and who have found some workarounds, as it seems to relate to the order in which the init system starts the different components - have you had any luck on that front?

I tried both solutions and nothing changed unfortunately.
