Update notifier missing in Rebase

I was excited to see the update notifier automatically hiding again, until I clicked on the system try button and realized that was because it was missing. There is a plasma-discover-notifier package, but its listed as for 5.27.11.

Is this by design, or is something borked?

Seems the tray icon is also missing from Kubuntu 24.10, though I am getting notifications from something. Is the tray icon no longer in use?
