Update to plasmashell 6.3.6 seems to have messed up dark themeing

Updating to plasmashell 6.3.6 on Debian unstable seems to have messed up dark theming. See the images below

And the same for some icons on SDDM. Is it a breeze issue? I created a new user to test if the configuration in my home directory is the issue but the same issues persist. Any idea how to fix this?

Different icons but I have the same issue in 6.3.6 on Debian. In my case it is the volume control in the bar, the sleep icon in SDDM, and the sleep and hibernate icons in the KDE menu. I’ve gone through the details of the global theme, but nothing changes, not even if I change to another theme and back.

I’m experiencing the same thing. I’m just going to hope/assume it’ll be fixed soon

same here volume, sleep, battery, hibernation icon gone dark

I’ve reported it here

Hopefully bugfix lands in the next release, till then I’ve installed GNOME shell

The maintainers were kind enough to inform me that one should report to package maintainer first, and then they may decide to report it upstream or not. so in the future I should be using reportbug. thanks for informing me about the update, I’m back on plasma now. <3

Yes, fixed here too! Thanks for reporting it.
