Url handler and chrome profiles

I am using brave/chromium browser with several profiles. In my .desktop files, I can set the profile via a command line option (like –profile-directory=Default). Without this option, Chromium browsers always use the last used profile and there is no way to change it in Chrome itself. My main problem is with thunderbird but the problem is not thunderbird specific. When I click an url in an email, it opens my browser in whatever profile I used last and not in my default profile I have set in the .desktop file. My question is, what do I have to do to open urls always in the same profile?

Sorry, but Cromium/Brave/Firefox (and Thunderbird) are not part of KDE. Are products of other companies.

Maybe better ask to their support web of these companies.

Regards

I think you should be able to associate any of your .desktop files as the default browser
