Surely ‘search’ will span more than a single page, or document…
Application Manuals
Seems pretty easy to search across multiple entire manuals.
How to search on entire documentation: “The Okular Handbook”
Unfortunately, some forums have restrictions to prevent spam or require certain user levels before allowing URL sharing.
I am using Gnome Fedora 41. When I press F1 in Okular, it opens the documentation URL on Browser. So your solution is not working for me.
That would be better addressed with Fedora. Some distros seem to use HTML docs, others use the Help Center application. There are valid reasons for these sort of choices a distro may make.
This is because F1 is linked to Gnome Help on Gnome desktop.
Please let us access single page HTML documentation for KDE applications.
GNU project does this.
So this is a Gnome issue, or a Fedora issue perhaps?
What’s interesting is that there’s no ‘Search’ field in the online handbook… so I guess it’s a valid question after all…
Why no search?
