Virtual screen sharring and new display behaviour issues

Hello,
I’m having some issues with the virtual screen sharing. It worked for a while, no issues, but I wanted to see what happened if I pressed “Duplicate” in the new display behaviour (META + P) menu. And, well, it broke, the stream only ever showed my main monitor and only after the steam ended, I got 2 notifications “New display detected” and “New display removed” right after each other. Moreover, I happened to select “use only external display” and it does not want to change from that, clicking anything else does nothing.

I tried to reset the kscreen configs and layouts but nothing worked and it’s still stuck.

I’d like the new display behaviour menu to save my choice which might even fix the virtual screen.

Did you try checking display settings in system settings yet? The virtual output should be in there

Hey, thanks for the tip,
my physical monitor went black every time a virtual desktop was created, I just now though to spam META + P until it switched back to normal. Then I just set my physical monitor to be “Primary” and arranged my monitors correctly. Works like a charm now.
