I have a process balook_file_extr which heats up my processor and when I kill it it just reappears. Is this a virus

No. Is only the index file to find files.

You need to disable this:

Are you it is named that way ?
There should be a baloo_file..

I can’t read you language, but it seems you selected indexe file content and that’s baloo_file_extractor main work. So the process is expected to run regularly so long as your files are not indexed.

What is the process executable (ls -l /proc/<pid>/exe) ?

You can use balooctl6 monitor to see what it is doing.

never used this dialog before. Looks like baloo is a bug. listing my home folder trice?

I never used the indexer. You can try to disable all.

And disable as my screenshot of before.
