when I start vlc from the kde menu it shows up immediately fully loaded and ready to go, but there is still an jumping vlc icon attached to my mouse cursor that makes me think it’s loading. When I execute vlc from konsole, vlc starts immediately and then there is just the mouse cursor no jumping vlc icon next to the vlc. Why is this?
