I’m guessing this has come up before but I tend to have four virtual desktops. It would be very useful to have the option for each virtual desktop wallpaper to be different. That would even be an easy way to identify the current viewed VD by looking at the desktop instead of looking at the virtual desktop switcher

on Plasma 5 (apart from the vallpaper wallpaper plugin,) you were able to work around this by using Activities and set different backdrops for each of them, instead of virtual Desktops and use a Pager Widget (e.g. by show alternatives) which supports activities…

The workaround does still exist… Just checked against Plasma 6.1 and EndeavourOS…
