Wayland window decorations, header color, thunderbird

KDE Neon Plasma, 6.1.3

I changed the window header color in settings, and it works for all windows (I use) except Thunderbird. However:

  • In Wayland, when I first open Thunderbird, the correct color flashes for a split second, then gets overwritten by the default color.
  • It works if I log in using X11
  • It works in another instance of KDE using Wayland (Tuxedo)

Fix, thoughts?

FYI, found the problem.

Setting the thunderbird theme to “system-theme auto” fixes this problem, and uses the window color as I’ve set in the Plasma window color settings.

I had the thunderbird theme set to “dark”, and that seems to over ride the plasma system settings and force the window header color to the KDE dark color.
