I know kf6-core is a KDE thing, but it’s not just used for KDE apps, but also for QT apps, just as the gnome extension is used for GTK apps, even those that aren’t Gnome or don’t use Libadwaita.
I noticed that kf6-core is missing basic features, things necessary to deliver a good user experience.
For example, it doesn’t come with support for lxqt-qtplugin, which makes the experience worse for LXQT users by breaking visual consistency.
It also doesn’t come with support for Kvantum, again breaking visual consistency.
Adding support for lxqt-qtplugin and Kvantum wouldn’t be extremely difficult.
This isn’t just about design; it also affects how users interact with apps. Without the lxqt-qtplugin, Snap QT apps use the gtk file selector instead of the LXQT file selector, further worsening the app experience.
Who would I need to talk to about adding these two things?
