Weird Colored Lines During KDE Neon Boot

Hello KDE Community

I’m experiencing an issue with weird colored lines (mostly green, white, and pink) appearing on my screen during the boot process of KDE Neon.

The problem occurs after the initial POST and during the splash screen or just before the login screen loads.
Once I’m in the KDE Plasma desktop, the colors disappear, and everything seems to work fine.

One time the problem persisted seconds after i logged in.
This problem wasn’t happening before. I think some update messed things up.

I tried installing nvidia driver nvidia-driver-570 instead of nvidia-driver-550 but that didin’t solve the problem.

Hi - I’m no graphics expert, but just to check - does that also occur if you temporarily boot with the Nouveau drivers, instead of the proprietary ones?

I did some testing and investigation, the problem seems to not be from the OS at all.

I isolated the monitor and disconnected the DP cable from the GPU entirely.
Only the power cable is connected to the monitor.

Yet the problem persists when i turn on the monitor, or when trying to display the on screen settings.

Funny i just bought this MSI monitor a year ago, and a weird problem like this happens.

Will try to see customer support.
