Weired Performance Problem (CachyOS + KDE Plasma 6.7.2)

The game is running well.
Than the lags starts but the game (can seen in the overlay) run with the same fps and frametimes. What not shown in the Video is that the whole Desktop is lagging if i tab out or use the Windows Key on my Keyboard to bring up the Desktop the menu is lagging as well.
This game is a worsed case in other games is not that bad sometimes only some hitching sometimes hangs for only 1 or 2 seconds sometimes for 5 seconds and more.

i am relatively new to linux but for me it looks like something with the display server may something how KDE handles what shown on the display? is that possible?

If more information is needed let me know but please bear with me i am not a linux pro after about 30 years of Window i changed in february to CachyOS with my Gaming System. :slightly_smiling_face:

It’s usually better to start with the OS then with plasma for this type of problem. Do the CachyOS people point the finger at plasma as the problem?

i tested a lot for CachyOS and Proton an i was in cantact with some with the same problem and one fixed it with changing to COSMIC and another one fixed it with downgrade to plasma 6.5

But i think we may found a fix as well.
A mate and i looking through window manager settings in KDE and i made some changes in it like wabble windows ans transparent when moving and something like that.
And i seems there something changed in the background.
The moment i set this settings to standard seems to fix the problem it need more testing but since than the game runs smooth.
