An auto-delete option for the clipboard would be great, an option which will allow user choose for how long the data in the clipboard should be kept.

it already has that… the default is a max of 20 entries.
It is not the same, if you have 20 entries you will have them there for the entire uptime. With an auto-delete feature you could have them deleted after 20 seconds or one hour.

a time based limit would be a new feature.

KeePass somehow does this. When I copy a password, it only stays in the clipboard for x amount of time.

Plasma pass can do it for stored password via pass or QtPass, but I don’t know why it doesn’t appear in system tray after upgrading to Plasma6.
